Crossroads gives entrepreneurs in rural communities in and around Galax, Virginia, the support they need to accomplish their dreams. 

Unfortunately, rural America is often left behind when it comes to access to innovative programs and resources that entrepreneurs need to launch their businesses. 

The amazing people at Crossroads wanted to make sure that wasn’t the case in their communities and created a center that can take entrepreneurs from ideas to implementation.

We’re so proud to be their Managed Services Provider and support their goal of revitalizing their region’s economy through support for small business owners. 

We caught up with the Crossroads team recently, and here’s how they describe their experience of working together.

Q: What does your business do, and who do you serve?

A: The Crossroads Institute is a non-profit organization representing small business development, economic development, and education in the Twin County area of Virginia. 

Q: What prompted you to need the services that Lingo provides? 

A: Most recently, our Higher Education Center received a grant for new equipment that was purchased through Lingo - but they provide a variety of other products, like internet service and email and website hosting - to our organization as well.

Q: What made you decide to use Lingo as your provider?
A: Their service is personal and timely. We always want to support local businesses, and choosing a provider like Lingo was an easy choice because we work together so closely and have for years.

Q: What pain points were solved once you had the Lingo services?

A: Lingo takes the guesswork out. For the equipment, I told Lingo what I needed, and they came up with the best solution, just as they do with their other services. We tell them what we need, and they make it happen.

Q: Describe your overall experience of being a Lingo customer.

A: Lingo is there when we need them. Consistently. Not only consistently, but the service is friendly, knowledgeable, and personable as well. They make tech easy.
