Home Wireless Internet FAQs
Is Home Wireless Internet the same as cellular or satellite internet?
No. Lingo Home Wireless Internet uses our local fixed-wireless network and professionally installed equipment to deliver service to your home. It does not rely on a satellite connection, and you are not required to install or configure the service yourself.
Are these speeds available at every address?
No. Available plans and maximum speeds depend on your location, signal conditions, terrain, network capacity, equipment, and other factors. We will confirm the available package and expected service for your address before installation.
Is there a contract?
No annual contract is required. Your promotional monthly internet price is locked for 24 months. After the price-lock period, the listed standard monthly price applies.
Is the Wi-Fi router included?
Yes. A managed Wi-Fi router is included with every Home Wireless Internet plan with no separate monthly router rental fee.
Does every plan include unlimited data?
Yes. All four Home Wireless Internet plans include unlimited monthly data with no usage-based speed throttling.
What are CommandIQ, ProtectIQ, and ExperienceIQ?
CommandIQ is the included app used to manage your home Wi-Fi. ProtectIQ provides built-in network security and real-time alerts. ExperienceIQ adds advanced Wi-Fi controls, user profiles, and parental controls and is included with Pro and Elite plans.
Can I improve Wi-Fi coverage inside or outside my home?
Additional Wi-Fi extenders, mesh equipment, or outdoor Wi-Fi equipment may be available when needed. These options are separate from the internet plan and may include an additional monthly equipment charge.
How do I know which plans are available at my address?
Select Check My Address and enter your service location. Because fixed-wireless availability varies by location, our team may need to review your address and confirm signal availability before scheduling installation.
