A few common questions.
Do I need Lingo internet to use this service?
No. Our video security service is available to customers using other internet providers, subject to service-area availability and technical requirements.
Are the cameras included in the monthly plan?
No. Monthly video service, camera equipment and installation are separate charges. You can purchase compatible equipment upfront or select an eligible 36-month lease.
Is someone monitoring my cameras?
Our current video plans are self-monitored. You manage live video, recordings and notifications through Alarm.com. Professional central-station monitoring is not currently included.
Can I record video continuously?
Yes, with compatible equipment and recording options. Continuous local recording through an SVR/CSVR is available as a monthly add-on. Supported onboard recording also varies by plan and camera model.
Can Lingo help with a business installation?
Yes. We can help evaluate video camera solutions for homes and businesses. Larger installations may require a custom equipment and installation quote.
