Phone Registration
Is my phone registered?
When the phone is registered, there will be a check mark over the phone line/extension. If there is an X on the phone line/extension, the phone is not registered, and you should try rebooting the phone. If the issue is still occurring, call Technical Support.
Voicemail
How do I check my voicemail?
If you are using your desk phone, press the Voicemail button on your phone. Enter the default voicemail password, 7797, and press #.
If you are using a remote phone, dial your personal office phone number and let it go to your voicemail. When your greeting starts, press *. Enter your voicemail password and press #.
Conference Call
While on a live call with one person, select the More prompt at the bottom of the screen.
Select the Confrnc prompt.
Enter the phone number of the person you would like to add to the call.
Once they answer, select More and select Confrnc to combine the separate calls into a conference.
You can also separate the conference to have two separate calls by pressing the Split prompt. This will allow you to switch between the two calls, and you can then create a new conference with either of the calls, while leaving one call on hold.
On Hold + Call Resume
How do I put a call on hold + then resume the call?
On hold: While on the phone, you will see the Hold prompt at the bottom of the screen. Once on hold, you should see a red pause icon on the line you are speaking on, and the light next to line that is on hold will flash red.
Resuming the call: Press the Resume prompt at the bottom of the screen, and you will see a green play icon on the line you are speaking on.
Transferring a Call
Live call
Press the button below Transfer at the bottom of the screen.
Enter the number, including area code, which you would like to transfer the call to.
If you would like to speak to the person you are transferring the call to, simply wait for them to answer, so that you may speak with them, then select transfer again.
If you want to do a blind transfer instead of waiting for the other party to answer, press Transfer when the prompt appears on the screen.
On hold call
Select the transfer prompt.
Enter the number you would like to transfer the call to.
Select transfer one more time once the Transfer prompt appears.
Call Forwarding
There are three options to select when forwarding your calls. Press the button below the screen to select the Forward prompt. If you have multiple lines set on your phone, the first screen that will appear is the Call Forward Line Selection screen. Press select on the line you would like to forward. The Forwarding Type Selection screen allows you to select between Always, No Answer, and Busy.
Selecting Always will always forward the calls to the number you select until the forward prompt is turned off.
Selecting No Answer will allow you to answer the phone when it rings, but, if you do not answer then the call will forward to the number you enter.
Selecting Busy will forward the call to the number you select if you are on the phone when you are receiving an incoming call.
Once you select your forwarding prompt, you will be prompted to enter the phone number you would like the calls to forward to. After you enter this number, press forward, select the line, select the forwarding type, and press enable.
Turning the Call Forwarding Option Off
Press the Forward button (If you have more than one line on your phone you will be prompted to select the line you want to forward.)
Choose the line you want to disable the forwarding feature on.
Press Select on the forwarding prompt you want to turn off.
Press Disable to disable the forwarding prompt.
Inbound + Outbound Calls
Why am I not receiving calls?
If you are not receiving calls but are able to make calls, check the DND(Do Not Disturb) feature on the phone. DND temporarily disables incoming calls and automatically sends them to voicemail.
If DND is activated, you will see a minus - symbol on your phone line/extension. You will also see a minus - symbol over a phone icon or it will say My Status: Do Not Disturb at the top right corner of the screen
If DND is not activated, and you are able to place outbound calls, but you cannot receive incoming calls, you will need to reboot your phone.
To reboot your phone, unplug the power and Ethernet or POE cable from the back of the phone and plug it back in
How do I make a call?
To dial someone in your office directly, enter the extension number for the person you are calling and press Dial or pick up the handset.
If you have extensions programmed, you can press the button next to the extension you are trying to reach.
To place an outbound call, you can dial the number and pick up the handset, or pick up the handset and dial the number.
Additional Features
View missed + recently dialed calls
Press the Home button on the desktop phone to access the menu.
Navigate to the Directories icon, and press the select button or the center of the arrow pad.
Once in the Directories screen, select Recent to view your recent inbound, outbound and missed calls.
Accessing directory + favorites
Press the Home button on the desktop phone to access the menu.
Navigate to the Directories icon and press the select button or the center of the arrow pad.
Once in the Directories screen, select Directory to view your list of entered contacts or select Favorites to view the numbers you have selected as favorites.
